Founded in 1980 by Ivorian Massogbè Touré, the Ivorian Cashew Processing Company (Sita) is today one of the world leaders in cashew nuts. Always in search of new export markets, the CEO has the idea of perpetuating her empire by passing it on to her children.
President and CEO of the Société Ivoirienne de Traitement de l'Anacarde (Sita), Massogbé Touré created the cashew nut industry in Côte d'Ivoire. As head of the "development of women's entrepreneurship" commission within the Confédération Générale des Entreprises de Côte d'Ivoire (CGECI), she campaigns for both the empowerment of women in rural areas and the support of cashew nut producers.
